In response to customer requests, Greenspeed has developed a trike to meet the needs of the everyday person - a trike for daily commuting and recreational riding. They found that many people transport their trikes to the beginning of a ride at least part of the time so to make this type of mixed mode transportation easier, they developed a trike that incorporated features from a number of their earlier successful designs and furthermore was easily foldable. The result is the GT3 - a very popular trike at an affordable price that folds easily to fit into the trunk of your car. Just undo a bolt and remove the seat, then undo a quick release lever at a hinge midway along the frame and fold the rear wheel underneath.

SPECS
The GT5 utilizes the same frame as the GT3 but is specced out with disc brakes and parts upgraded to Shimano 105.
The X3 and X5 Sports trikes are a pair of new faster trike models from Greenspeed which also fold and which are based on features taken from their quick and sporty GTS and GTX, including slightly cambered wheels to increase tire grip and decrease wear, and a racier, more relined 30 degree seat angle to decrease wind resistance. As Greenspeed says, these trikes are designed with some serious race bred geometry so you can have more fun!
The X3 is fitted with drum brakes, while the X5 comes with disc brakes and parts upgraded to Shimano 105.
The GTO is Greenspeeds Suitcase trike which is fitted with S&S Bicycle Torque Couplings that allow it to be broken down so that it will fit into two suitcases for touring and travel or stoage. It has a high backed 40 degree seat angle, which more people find the most comfortable, the dropped frame of the GTS, to give a lower center of gravity, with the better road holding and handling of the GTS, It also has good ground clearance due to a new, more compact steering mechanism. One of the best parts is that it costs less than other travel models, due to the fact we have used only ONE S&S coupling in the design, instead of the three used in the GTC. This has been done by using two hidden M8 cap screws to hold the rear of the seat in place, instead of the two rear S&S couplings, resulting in a lighter and neater design.
